of Entry
These rules govern the Arthur Ford Agent Cruise Challenge 2026. By taking part, you agree to these rules. Clauses in bold limit AF Brands' responsibility or place risk on you. Please read them carefully before entering.
clause 1
Who Runs This Competition
1.1
The promoter is AF Brands (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2013/094126/07, of Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal ("AF Brands").
1.2
The cruise is operated by MSC Cruises S.A. ("MSC"). MSC's Booking Terms and Conditions, Contract of Carriage and Guest Conduct Policy apply to every traveller. Where these rules and MSC's terms differ about the cruise itself, MSC's terms apply.
1.3
These rules are published on this page at arthur-ford.com. Agents can contact Gold Support or VIP Support on WhatsApp at +27 67 395 4896 with any questions.
clause 2
Who Can Take Part
2.1
Registered Arthur Ford Agents who are active and in good standing from the start of the competition until the prize is handed over.
2.2
"Good standing" means your account is not in arrears and not suspended.
2.3
You must be 18 or older and hold a valid South African ID or a valid passport.
2.4
These people may not win:
AF Brands directors and employees (including store staff and Ops Managers), their spouses, life partners and immediate family, and suppliers involved in this competition.
2.5
One agent number per person. Each person can win only one prize.
clause 3
How to Win
3.1
The competition runs from 1 October to 31 December 2026 ("the period"). It is open to all registered Arthur Ford Agents who meet clause 2.
3.2
Your tier (Gold or VIP) is your tier on 1 October 2026.
3.3
Monthly entry. Each calendar month (October, November, December) in which your net paid orders reach R1,000 or more (Gold) or R3,000 or more (VIP) gives you one entry into the cruise draw. Maximum three monthly entries.
3.4
Growth bonus. If you qualify in all three months, and your net paid orders for October–December are at least 15% higher than for July–September, you get one bonus entry. Gold Agents also get an Arthur Ford cap; VIP Agents get an Arthur Ford golfer. Every Agent who qualifies gets this gear — it is not drawn.
3.5
Agents with no sales in July–September cannot earn the growth bonus. There is nothing to measure 15% against.
3.6
Agent to Gold. If you are not Gold on 1 October, buy R1,000 or more (net paid) in each of October, November and December, and reach Gold by 31 December, you receive an Arthur Ford Gold golfer and one entry into a separate Agent to Gold draw. One winner is drawn from this pool.
3.7
No agent can have more than 4 entries in the cruise draw (3 monthly + 1 growth bonus).
3.8
"Net paid orders" means orders invoiced in that calendar month and paid, minus returns and credit notes. Returns up to 30 days after 31 December are deducted, and entries are removed if a month drops below the threshold. Orders on another agent's number, stock bought to resell to other agents, and orders placed only to reach a threshold do not count.
3.9
The draw. Winners are drawn at random in early January 2027. Four winners are drawn across three pools — 1 from the Agent to Gold pool, 2 from the Gold pool, and 1 from the VIP pool — plus 3 reserve names per pool. Winners are announced on 11 January 2027 on Arthur Ford's official Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp channels.
3.10
A winner must still meet clause 2 on the draw date. If not, the next reserve wins.
3.11
"Agent" is the name of an Arthur Ford customer programme. Agents are customers of AF Brands who buy products at programme prices for their own use or resale in their own name. They are not agents, representatives or employees of AF Brands, cannot act or contract on its behalf, and may win.
3.12
Agent prices do not increase because of this competition. There is no entry fee.
3.13
Gear earned is delivered. If an item is out of stock, AF Brands may replace it with an item of similar value.
clause 4
THE PRIZE
4.1
Each winner receives: a 3-night MSC cruise from Durban and back (no ports of call) on MSC Armonia,
departing 11 February 2027 and disembarking 14 February 2027
, for the winner and one companion sharing one Bella inside cabin; cruise fare, port charges, MSC's hotel service charge (staff gratuities) and MSC's compulsory travel insurance; return transport to Durban port for both travellers up to the limit in clause 5; and an Arthur Ford gear pack for the winner.
4.2
The Arthur Ford gear pack includes: The North Face jacket, tog bag, golfer, cap and [other items].
4.3
The approximate value of each prize is R20,000.
4.4
Everything not listed in 4.1 is not included. See the included/not included table below.
4.5
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, a voucher, a different sailing or a different product.
4.6
AF Brands will not pay for cabin upgrades. A winner may request to upgrade and pay the difference themselves, if MSC allows it.
4.7
Gear sizes must be confirmed by the winner when accepting the prize. If an item is out of stock, AF Brands may replace it with an item of similar value.
clause 5
Transport to and from the Port
5.1
AF Brands pays for return transport from the winner's registered address to Durban port and back, for two people, up to R10,000 per winner in total (for both travellers together).
5.2
AF Brands chooses the most practical and economical option. For winners who drive, fuel is reimbursed at the current AA fuel rate per km plus tolls, on proof of payment. For winners travelling from further away, economy return flights to King Shaka International plus MSC's airport shuttle may be arranged and booked by AF Brands.
5.3
Costs are paid only if AF Brands approved them in writing before travel. R10,000 is a limit on actual costs, not an allowance. Any amount not used is not paid out in cash. Claims need receipts and must be submitted within 14 days after the cruise.
5.4
Not included: port parking, car hire, meals on the road, taxis not approved in advance, extra baggage fees, and flight changes requested by the winner.
5.5
A hotel night before the cruise is paid only if AF Brands decides the travel timing requires it.
5.6
Travellers must reach the port within their MSC embarkation time. If they miss the ship for any reason, including a late flight or traffic, the prize is lost and nothing is refunded.
clause 6
Accepting the Prize
6.1
Winners are announced on 11 January 2027 on Arthur Ford's official Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp channels. Winners who have not made contact with Arthur Ford by 13 January 2027 forfeit their prize, which passes to the next reserve. Winners must confirm acceptance in writing by 14 January 2027.
6.2
On acceptance, the winner must provide: full names exactly as on the ID or passport, ID or passport numbers, dates of birth, cell numbers, an emergency contact, and gear sizes — for both travellers.
6.3
Both travellers must complete MSC's online check-in and Passenger Registration Form as soon as MSC opens it (approximately 30 days before sailing).
6.4
Any medical, dietary or accessibility need must be sent to MSC on its Accessibility and Medical Requests Form at least 30 days before sailing.
6.5
If names or ID details are wrong and MSC refuses boarding, the prize is lost.
clause 7
The Companion
7.1
The companion must be 18 or older, hold a valid ID or passport, and be fit to travel.
7.2
The winner and companion share one cabin. The companion must follow these rules and MSC's terms. The winner is responsible for the companion's conduct and onboard account.
7.3
Due to the proximity of the announcement date to the sailing date, companion changes are not permitted after the winner accepts the prize. The companion named at acceptance is final.
7.4
The companion cannot travel without the winner.
clause 8
If You Cannot Travel
8.1
The prize is only for this sailing. It cannot be moved to another date.
8.2
If a winner cannot or does not want to travel for any reason, they must notify AF Brands in writing immediately. The entire prize — including the cruise, transport and gear pack — is forfeited and passes to the next reserve.
8.3
The prize cannot be transferred to another person under any circumstances.
8.4
No cash, voucher or refund is given instead of the cruise, for any reason, including illness, work, family events or pregnancy.
8.5
Any refund or insurance payout linked to a cancelled booking belongs to AF Brands, because AF Brands paid for it.
8.6
MSC does not carry anyone who will be 24 weeks pregnant or more at any point during the cruise. A pregnant traveller must also give MSC a doctor's certificate. If this rule prevents travel, clause 8.4 applies.
clause 9
On Board
9.1
Every traveller must link a credit or debit card, or leave a cash deposit, for their MSC onboard account.
9.2
AF Brands does not pay for any onboard spending. This includes all drinks (alcohol, soft drinks, bottled water and minibar), MSC's 15% service charge on drinks, speciality restaurants, laundry, spa, casino, internet, photos, shopping and the ship's doctor.
9.3
Each traveller must settle their onboard account before leaving the ship. If MSC asks AF Brands to pay an unpaid account, AF Brands may recover that amount from the winner, including from the winner's agent account.
9.4
MSC confiscates alcohol found in luggage or cabins. It is not returned.
9.5
Travellers represent Arthur Ford. They must follow MSC's Guest Conduct Policy and the Master's instructions. If MSC removes a traveller for misconduct, the traveller pays their own way home. AF Brands may also exclude the winner from future incentives.
clause 10
Health, Insurance and Documents
10.1
MSC's compulsory Hollard travel insurance is included. It has limits, excesses (normally R500) and exclusions, including limited cover for pre-existing conditions. Read the policy wording before you sail. Keep your own medical aid active.
10.2
The ship's doctor is a private service and charges for every consultation. Take all your own medication, in its original packaging, in your hand luggage.
10.3
Travellers must be fit to travel by sea. MSC and the Master may refuse to board anyone they believe is not fit. If this happens, clause 8.4 applies.
10.4
This cruise visits no foreign port, so MSC accepts a valid South African ID. Non-South African citizens must check with MSC which documents they need. Both travellers must bring the original document.
clause 11
Changes Made by MSC
11.1
MSC may change the ship, times or route, or cancel the cruise, for weather, safety or other reasons. AF Brands does not control this.
11.2
If MSC cancels and offers another sailing, AF Brands will try to move the winners to it. If that is not possible, the prize ends. No cash is paid instead.
11.3
AF Brands is not liable for delays, changes or cancellations by MSC, airlines, bus companies or any other supplier.
clause 12
Responsibility and Risk
12.1
AF Brands is not the cruise operator, airline or insurer. Claims about the cruise, luggage, injury or illness must go to MSC, the transport company or Hollard.
12.2
As far as the law allows, AF Brands is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, illness or death linked to the prize, unless caused by AF Brands' gross negligence.
12.3
Nothing in these rules takes away rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act.
clause 13
Tax
13.1
The prize may count as taxable income for the winner, because it is linked to your agent business. AF Brands will give the prize value on request. Each winner is responsible for their own tax.
clause 14
Your Information and Publicity
14.1
AF Brands will share travellers' details with MSC, Hollard and transport suppliers only to deliver the prize. Details are kept safely and only as long as needed.
14.2
AF Brands may publish winners' names, agent area and sales ranking on agent channels.
14.3
AF Brands would like to share photos and videos of winners. Winners may say no, and saying no does not affect the prize.
clause 15
GENERAL
15.1
AF Brands may disqualify an agent, and take back a prize or its value, for fraud, false orders or breaking these rules.
15.2
AF Brands may change or end the competition only for reasons outside its control. It will tell agents in writing. Changes will not reduce sales already earned.
15.3
Questions about results must be submitted via WhatsApp to Gold Support or VIP Support at +27 67 395 4896 within 7 days of the announcement. After review, AF Brands' decision is final, subject to the law.
15.4
South African law applies.
This competition is governed by the Consumer Protection Act.

POPIA — Protection of Personal Information
By entering this competition, entrants agree that Arthur Ford may collect and process the personal information required to administer the competition. This may include name, contact details, Arthur Ford Agent status and agent number, proof of identity, and travel and prize redemption details if selected as a winner. Where winners travel, details are shared with MSC Cruises S.A., Hollard, and transport suppliers only to deliver the prize.
This information will be used only for purposes related to the competition, including verifying entries and eligibility, conducting the draw, contacting winners, arranging prize fulfilment, record-keeping, and complying with legal requirements — including the 3-year record-keeping obligation under the Consumer Protection Act. Arthur Ford will not sell or share personal information with third parties for unrelated marketing purposes.
Personal information will be retained for a minimum of 3 years as required by the Consumer Protection Act for promotional competition records, and otherwise only for as long as reasonably required, after which it will be securely deleted or destroyed where appropriate.
